This Braun series 3 is the worst razor I've ever purchased. This razor will pull and snag constantly, lord forbid you miss one day of shaving. Miss 2 days, you better have a different razor to shave with.

The foil seems to make my beard stand up better and the blade is sharper, faster and smoother than the original.

Replacing was a snap, literally, and using the shaver after replacement with this new cutting assembly improved the shave from my Braun.
I was quite pleased that this foil has the updated hexagonal grid pattern rather than my old circular hole pattern in the original foil. This design does seem better at catching the facial hair for a closer shave.
